From the South:

• Leave the M6 at Junction 41
• Take the 1st exit onto the B5303 (Wigton)
• After 11.3 miles turn left onto the B5299 (Caldbeck)
• After 5 miles turn right onto the B5299 signed Keswick, Ireby, Uldale (watch out for free-range sheep & cows!)
• After 2.4 miles you’ll reach Uldale
• In the village, take the 1st right AFTER the pub signed Ireby/Mealsgate
• Pass the farm and immediately round the corner you’ll find the driveway to The Coach House, The Old Rectory and The Groom’s Cottage on your right.
• Enter through the gate (signed The Coach House driveway) and please park in the designated space signed GROOMS.
• The cottage is situated in the courtyard, far left side.

From the North:

• Leave the M6 at Junction 42
• Take the 4th exit signed Dalston
• After 2.2 miles go straight across the staggered crossroads, again signed Dalston
• After 2.7 miles at the Bridge End Inn, turn left onto the B5299 signed Welton
• After 4.1 miles go straight over the crossroads staying on the B5299 signed Caldbeck
• After 5 miles turn right onto the B5299 signed Keswick, Ireby, Uldale (watch out for free-range sheep & cows!)
• After 2.4 miles you’ll reach Uldale
• In the village, take the 1st right AFTER the pub signed Ireby/Mealsgate
